PIU has the utilization of handplants (triple and quad simultaneous steps), so it's natural to implement that into my tracks. Still trying to get used to the four arrow format, and the way a body can move around on the floor, utilizing the arrows. Me, I play Pump It Up, pretty exclusively. That said and done, nice to meet you all, and PLEASE let me milk your brains for some advice!

Tripped on this, looking through bayson's LJ info page, and figured it'd be the pest place to get info on SM and how to finetune custom StepFiles. but the mat just doesnt do anything! is there a step i'm missing or something? whats going on?

Ive tried un installing and re installing the drivers, a little bubble pops up in windows saying "USB human interface device installed successfully" or something to that effect after i install it. going to control panel/game controllers tells me that everything is connected and working properly. at first i thought i had a cheap shitty usb converter, but i hooked my ps2 controller into it and that works fine.

I have it hooked up to my computer with a usb converter, i have the converter's drivers installed and everything, but the buttons on the mat are unresponsive. My dance mat isnt working and its driving me BATTY

The cause of the StepMania Online Server going away is, according to Mega Net Serve, the hard drive failed. I don't know if anyone who reads this cares, but it's the best place I could find to post.
